Getting set for twins!
Ready for the Arrival of the Twins? What to Pack for Delivery
In the case of many twin pregnancies, you're given your prospective due date. Unlike the case of singleton pregnancies, where you're told that you are likely to deliver in the range of two weeks before or two weeks after your due date, for twin pregnancies that range becomes considerably wider with twins and multiples. Many of us mamas going through twin pregnancies will be told that you could deliver anytime between 24 and 37 weeks--Yikes! Be ready!

So you've done a lot of reading, resting and prepping mentally for babies to arrive by the third trimester. Now, it's time to get the bags packed for the delivery of those babies. Most likely, your OB/Mid-wife or family doc has recommended a hospital birth or birth in a birthing facility over a home birth, as there are more chances of complications during births of multiples.
In this case, you need to get your bags packed girlfriend! Many start doing this at 24 weeks...just in case.

For the birth of our first baby, we enlisted the help of a birth doula. She was AMAZING. Contact this Mama if you want more info about that experience and a recommendation. A Doula is a person who trains in assisting families with getting ready for birth, birthing, and post-birth adjustment. To find out more about Doula services check out:
